When I started working with Shannon, I knew right away that she had a very big vision. Sometimes when she was describing what we were going to build, it was almost like she’d stop looking at me and look toward a picture of this business that only she could see.
I absolutely love it when that happens. When you can see it, I can see it. Then we make it so everyone else can see it too.
I was shocked by the speed with which this all came together, and what Shannon has built in the end of it all, is a varied, extensive, highly-professional series of offers to help mother’s get back into bodies they feel proud to be in.
I know we’re not supposed to talk about that. Like acknowledging that we care about how we look is the only thing that makes it real. But ignoring that longing, and the pain it comes with, doesn’t heal it in any way, shape or form.
There is a huge difference between being in a body that society shamefully but adamantly deems “good”, and being in a body that feels good to its owner. And Shannon helps the later come into being for many mothers who’ve exchanged vibrancy and a waistline for beautiful children. Absolutely worth it, but there should be no shame in wanting it back.
Shannon has one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen, definitely in the fitness world. And I am so happy that I was able to work with her to extend her voice to all those moms who need to hear it. Check her out, she’ll catch you.
