As a mother of four whose kids have never set foot in a school, I am privy to many a conversation while living within perpetual earshot of “kids these days.”
⭐️ They are deep.
⭐️ They feel on a level that wasn’t available to us.
⭐️ They have a much greater capacity for forgiveness than we did.
⭐️ They can process and make sense of things we couldn’t have imagined.
And boy have we (as the adult keepers of society) put the latter to the test.
So when I get the opportunity to sit across from someone who wants to dedicate her life to giving kids a safe place to unpack, examine and reorganize the many thoughts they’ve been collecting over the past few confusing years, it’s nothing short of an honour to be of service.
